I have long contemplated the need for a practical platform to get people at the top of their game together, with the purpose of developing relationships in business.  Traditional methods in doing this are often tedious and are considered a necessary evil.  Networking events, annual dinners, cocktail parties, speaker events with a call to action…  They don’t quite cut it in delivering the social glue that allows people to do what they do naturally in a more intimate, relaxed environment.

Relationships in business form the bedrock of almost all endeavours.  When we really dig deeper, we find that most initiatives or major developments arise out of people coming together, discussing their ideas and joining forces, or introducing someone they know to create something of value.

Towards the end of last year this ‘brain itch’ – a culmination of experience, ideas and various initiatives over the years finally came together and I had what I like to call an aha moment.  An epiphany of sorts.  The ‘how and what’ became abundantly, delightfully clear.

I would start a business club.  With a twist.  A club that honours human nature and delivers the right environment for Members to foster good old-fashioned relationships.  Oh, and it needed to be fun, light-hearted and integrity based.

And so the first phase of RSVP Essential was born.  On the 28th January 2015 to be precise!  If you’d like to get involved in any way, do let me know.
