Sessions Overview

Drawing on years of experience, expertise, and the most up-to-date research, frameworks and tools, Louise will guide you through a series of Future-Focused lenses, why they are essential now and, crucially, when and how to use them.

You will leave every session with actionable strategies you can use right away.

  • SESSION 1: Master Your Contextual Awareness: Reframe the current context of complexity, uncertainty and information overload into opportunities for growth and discovery. Read the signals of change in dynamic markets, and gain insight into the emergent challenges and rich opportunities in your business environment. 
  • SESSION 2: Lead with Awareness: Develop your self-awareness, self-mastery and future-fit leadership skills to meet the challenges of our rapidly changing business contexts. Identify any habitual ways of thinking holding you back, and create space for connection and collaboration.
  • SESSION 3: Navigate Complexity and Ambiguity: Shift from observing events or data in isolation to appreciating the interconnectedness of all things, and connecting the dots. Complex or Complicated? Understand the difference and learn to make sense of and work with complexity, ambiguity and uncertainty. 
  • SESSION 4: Gain the Power of Foresight: Use the push of the present, weight of the past, and pull of the future to intentionally drive your business agenda with the end in mind. Explore multiple potential futures, identify early signals of change, and use the power of foresight to inform your strategy and decision-making.
  • SESSION 5: Adapt, Innovate and Transform: Embrace new technologies and ignite your curiosity, creativity, and innovative thinking. Understand the nature of change, transition and transformation and empower yourself to adapt, lead effectively and thrive.

What are Relevant Circles?

Relevant Circles are closed groups of 12 - 14 people who collaborate in a structured Thinking Partnership to develop their future-focused thinking, skills and capabilities through expert-facilitated sessions held twice a month for five consecutive months.

Who is this for? 

You're an ideal Member of a Circle if you're a leader, decision-maker or entrepreneur who recognises that the time is right to be intentional about shaping your future.

what's MY time commitment?

Join your peers in two live, virtual sessions each month, led and facilitated by Louise:
  • 1 x 120-Minute Topic Session per month for 5 consecutive months
  • 1 x 60-Minute drop-in Discussion Session per month (two weeks after the Topic Session) for 5 consecutive months

There is no additional formal time needed.

what if i miss a session?

You will be invited to join your Circle in a private group, hosted by Louise on Substack where you'll find the content from each session, community chat, the ability to post notes and insights, and easy engagement with one another.

why a thinking partnership?

The power of collective intelligence flourishes in a Thinking Partnership, enabling you to develop new approaches, challenge your thinking patterns, and collaboratively make sense of events and situations in ways individual development may fall short.

What's the etiquette?

As a Member of a Circle, you'll commit to attending two sessions per month, actively contributing your experience and insight, maintaining complete confidentiality, and engaging respectfully with the diverse perspectives shared within your Circle.

are circles confidential?

Yes. A Relevant Circle is subject to Mowbray by Design's Virtual Events Ts & Cs, and its Members agree to abide by the Chatham House Rule.
